Don't worry! This is usually an easy fix. Here's what to do:

1. First, give it some time. Let the keg sit in the machine for 30 minutes. Often, this resolves the E7 error on its own.
2. If the E7 code sticks around, try these quick steps:
   • Check that the tap unit is fully connected to the keg. You should hear two distinct clicks when it's properly seated.
   • Take a look at the keg's top. Is the seal in good shape?
   • Inspect the tap unit's seal too.

1. Check for a frozen heat exchanger:

   This is the most common cause of cooling issues. Signs include:

   • Machine is making a humming noise but not cooling
   • You can see frost or ice buildup inside the machine

   If you suspect a frozen heat exchanger:

   • Unplug the machine for 24 hours
   • This allows any ice to melt completely
   • After 24 hours, plug it back in and see if cooling resumes
2. Ensure proper ventilation:
   • Make sure there's at least 10cm of space around the machine
   • Check that nothing is blocking the vents
3. Check the temperature setting:
   • Ensure it's set to your desired temperature (usually between 32°F and 40°F)

Installing your keg is quick and easy. Follow these steps for the perfect pour:

1. Clean the keg top:
   • Wipe the top of the keg with a clean, damp cloth
   • This removes any dust or debris
2. Prepare the tap unit:
   • Ensure the tap unit is clean
   • Lightly moisten the rubber seal on the tap unit with water
   • This helps create a better seal with the keg
3. Connect the tap unit:
   • Place the tap unit on top of the keg
   • Press down firmly until you hear two distinct clicks
   • These clicks indicate the tap unit is properly connected
4. Insert the keg into the machine:
   • Open the PerfectDraft machine door
   • Slide the keg in, making sure it's properly aligned
   • The tap should face towards the door
5. Close the door:
   • Gently close the machine door
   • The machine will start cooling and pressurizing the keg
6. Wait for the magic:
   • If your keg was pre-chilled in the fridge, allow 12 hours for the keg to fully settle
   • If your keg is at ambient temperature, allow 24 hours for the keg to fully settle
   • The LED light will turn green when your beer is ready to pour

Remember, a properly installed keg can stay fresh in your PerfectDraft machine for up to 30 days. Enjoy your perfectly poured beer at home!

Time for a New Keg? Let's Do It!

Changing your PerfectDraft keg is easy, but there's a crucial step to remember.

1. De-pressurize the keg if beer remains when changing (Important!):
   • This step is critical for to prevent beer spraying
   • Option A: Unplug the machine and pull the tap handle until no more beer comes out
   • Option B: Open the machine door and pull the tap handle until the beer stops flowing
   • Be patient - this may take a few minutes
2. Open the machine:
   • Once de-pressurized, open the PerfectDraft machine door
3. Remove the old keg:
   • Gently pull the keg towards you
   • Lift it out carefully - it might still be heavy!
4. Detach the tap unit:
   • Press the release buttons on either side of the tap unit
   • Lift the tap unit off the empty keg
5. Prepare the new keg:
   • Remove the plastic tab from the new keg
6. Attach the tap unit:
   • Place the tap unit on the new keg
   • Press down firmly until you hear two distinct clicks
7. Insert the new keg:
   • Slide the new keg into the machine
   • Ensure it's properly aligned with the tap facing the door
8. Close and restart:
   • Close the machine door
   • Plug the machine back in if you unplugged it earlier

3. Perfect your pouring technique:
   • Open the tap fully and quickly
   • Tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle
   • Pour down the side of the glass
   • Straighten the glass as it fills
   • Aim for about 2-3 cm of foam at the top
4. Check your glass:
   • Use a clean, dry glass
   • Avoid hot glasses fresh from the dishwasher
5. Check for blockages:
   • Ensure the tap and spout are clean and free from obstructions
