Machine Issues
Don't panic! This error often has a simple solution. Here's what you can try:
1. Reset the machine: Open the door, wait for about a minute, then close the door. This simple reset often does the trick!
2. Check the keg connection: Disconnect the keg from the tap, give the seals on the tap unit a quick rinse, then reconnect — listen for two distinct clicks to ensure it's properly seated.
3. Dealing with a near-empty keg? Sometimes E0 pops up when the keg has depressurized.
Open and close the door a few times to help repressurize the keg.
Don't worry! This is usually an easy fix.
Here's what to do:
1. Give it some time. Let the keg sit in the machine for 10-30 minutes. Often, this resolves the E7 error on its own.
If the E7 code sticks around, try these quick steps:
1. Check the tap unit connection. Make sure it's fully pushed down onto the keg — you should hear two distinct clicks when it's properly seated.
2. Inspect the keg seal. Take a look at the top of the keg and make sure the seal is in good shape.
3. Check the tap unit seal. A handy tip: slightly wetting the seal before attaching it to the keg can help create a better connection.

A little regular care goes a long way toward keeping every pour fresh and delicious. Here's how to keep your machine in top shape:
Every keg change:
1. Clean the tap unit. Remove the tube connector and tube from the tap unit, then rinse the tube connection hole and spout under running water. A small amount of dish soap is fine if needed — just rinse thoroughly.
2. Replace the beer tube. A new tube comes with every PerfectDraft keg — always swap it out. Don't reuse old tubes.
Wipe down the cooling plate. Use a damp cloth to remove any water stains or residue.
Every few weeks (while a keg is installed):
1. Empty and clean the drip tray. It's removable and dishwasher safe — warm soapy water does the trick.
2. Wipe the exterior. Use a soft damp cloth with water or a mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaners that could damage the surface.
3. Check the ventilation grilles. Dust buildup can affect cooling performance. A quick brush or vacuum keeps airflow clear.
A clean machine runs more efficiently, cools better, and — most importantly — keeps your beer tasting the way it should. If you have any questions about maintenance, our support team is happy to help!

# How do I install a new keg in my machine?
Installing your keg is quick and easy. Follow these steps for the perfect pour:
1. **Prepare the keg.** For best results, chill your keg in the fridge for 12-24 hours before installing. This helps it reach ideal serving temperature faster.
2. **Clean the keg top.** Wipe the top of the keg with a clean, damp cloth to remove any dust or debris.
3. **Prepare the tap unit.** Make sure the tap unit is clean. Slightly moisten the rubber seal on the tap unit with water — this helps create a better connection.
4. **Connect the tap unit.** Place the tap unit on top of the keg and press down firmly until you hear two distinct clicks. These clicks mean the tap unit is properly connected.
5. **Insert the keg into the machine.** Open the PerfectDraft machine door, slide the keg in making sure it's properly aligned, with the tap facing towards the door.
6. **Close the door.** Gently close the machine door. The machine will start cooling and pressurizing the keg.
7. **Wait for the magic.** Allow about 4 hours for the keg to fully pressurize. The LED light will turn green when your beer is ready to pour.
**Pro tip:** Let your keg settle for 4 hours after installation before pouring your first beer. This ensures perfect temperature and carbonation.
Remember, a properly installed keg can stay fresh in your PerfectDraft machine for up to 30 days. Enjoy!

PerfectDraft is a countertop keg machine that serves bar-quality draft beer. You simply insert a 202oz keg (equivalent to 18 bottles of Stella Artois) into the unit, and it cools the beer to your desired temperature. Once cooled, all you need to do is pull the tap to pour the perfect pint of beer.
-
Each keg holds 202oz, equivalent to 18 bottles of Stella Artois. The machine's LED monitor displays the level of beer remaining in the keg so you can order more as needed and avoid running out. Pro tip: Keep your next keg in the fridge to reduce the time it takes to cool the beer once placed in the machine.
-
Once opened, each keg stays fresh for 30 days. The PerfectDraft machine keeps track of your keg's freshness and notifies you of its remaining shelf life. Each keg comes clearly marked with a ‘best before’ date.
-
PerfectDraft maintains the beer at a steady temperature of your choice between 32F - 54F. The LED monitor on the PerfectDraft machine displays the current temperature of the keg.

Yes, changing the keg is easy and only takes a minute. Simply open the machine, pull out the tap handle at the top, remove the old keg, and snap in a new keg. Each keg purchased from us comes with a fresh beer line that snaps into the tap handle. There's no CO2, maintenance, or cleaning required. The process is very similar to putting a pod in a coffee maker.

Only PerfectDraft kegs purchased from our US website (us.perfectdraft.com) will fit into the PerfectDraft machine. Currently, we offer a collection of Stella Artois, Veza Sur, and La Rubia kegs, and we are continually adding more to our assortment.
